On April 4, the solemn Best Supplier Award Ceremony was held by Coca-Cola Hellenic at the Baltschug Kempinski Moscow Hotel. Since the award was established in 2008, the Company carries out its annual company based assessments of the suppliers, measuring their compliance with key performance indicators. By means of such assessments the Company motivates its business partners to enhance their long-term and sustainable collaboration. In Russia, Coca-Cola Hellenic collaborates annually with 5-6 thousands of suppliers, on average. About 140 of them are the global strategic partners of the Company. One of the most important principles of the operation of Coca-Cola HBC in all the 28 countries of its presence is to purchase stuff and raw materials from local suppliers. Coca-Cola Hellenic elaborated a list of criteria, taking into consideration that the suppliers can have a significant influence on the sustainable development of the Company. The main criteria are: compliance with labor protection regulations, implementation of a system of testing and control of equipment and product quality, implementation of a food safety management system. ITECO has been recognized as the winner for "Motor carrier". That means that the operation of ITECO complies with high standards of the international corporation.
