This top industry status was confirmed by the Leaders in Transport Logistics awards ceremony held in Moscow on May 31. The award was established in 2017 under the name "Trucks and Roads" (since 2022 it has been renamed "Leaders of Transport Logistics") with the participation of the Intersectoral Expert Council for the Development of the Freight Automotive and Road Industry (MOES).
This year, ITECO Russia LLC became a laureate in the category Cargo Carrier on Domestic Routes. According to the organizers, the award jury was guided by the following criteria: the degree of increase in operational efficiency or the efficiency of business processes, the uniqueness or novelty of the project, competitiveness among projects/solutions in this field of activity, scalability, and the possibility of application in other companies.
- This victory is important for us because it reflects the recognition of ITECO's merits from within the cargo transportation industry, by its representatives, - said the President of ITECO Group Evgeny Babaev. – I consider this an important addition to the recognition of the company at the state level in 2020, when ITECO Russia LLC was included by the Ministry of Transport in the list of backbone organizations of the Russian transport complex.
Applicants for the award could be industry enterprises that are engaged in road transport logistics, have achieved high performance indicators and made the greatest contribution to the development of the industry as a whole, the formation of a transparent and organized market for road transport services, the implementation of large-scale programs, the development and implementation of new technologies.
In previous years, ITECO became a winner of the national award: in 2017 - in the nomination "Commercial Freight Carrier", in 2020 - "Commercial Freight Carrier on Domestic Routes".
