As part of the international exhibition TransRussia 2024, held in Moscow from March 19 to 21, 2024, an award ceremony for the laureates of the Reliable Carrier of Russia rating took place. ITECO, which participated in the exhibition this year as an exhibitor - with its own stand, became the owner of this prestigious title.
The Reliable Carrier of Russia rating is relatively young - it has been compiled since 2022, but is already considered in the cargo transportation industry and in the eyes of customers of transport services one of the most authoritative and indicative, complementing the national awards Leader of Transport Logistics and Logistics of the Year. The initiator of the rating is the National Union of Experts in the Field of Transport and Logistics (SEL) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Transport. The rating is based on data from the state system Platon, and the purpose of its annual compilation is to encourage law-abiding Russian carriers interested in developing the logistics industry and creating equal conditions for competition. The assessment is based on the carrier’s activity in 2023 (mileage and number of vehicles), the amount of payments to the Platon system and the amount of fines (smaller fines correspond to a higher position in the ranking). Considering the status of the event, the award ceremony is traditionally held as part of the largest transport and logistics event - at the TransRussia exhibition at Crocus Expo, Moscow.
According to the participants, the 2024 ceremony turned out to be especially vibrant, with a large number of spectators - representatives of the cargo transportation industry and cargo-owning companies from all sectors of the economy. ITECO became a laureate not only in the main one, but also in another nomination introduced this year: The Most Russian (for the maximum number of Russian brands in the fleet).
- The cargo transportation industry in Russia is extremely competitive, so it is important not only to achieve results, but also to maintain them, - said Dmitry Kalashnikov, CEO of ITECO Russia LLC. - We succeed: ITECO is recognized as a “Reliable Carrier of Russia” for the second year in a row. And the fact that the rating is based on data from the state system “Platon” indicates its objectivity. I would like to say that ITECO is continuously developing, our client portfolio is expanding: the number of active ITECO clients from all sectors of the economy is already 7,000. These numbers are reality for us, and today we have received yet another independent confirmation of the company’s contribution to the cargo transportation industry and the economy of our large country. And I’ll tell you about one more figure: this year the ITECO brand turns 20 years old.
