The corresponding leasing agreement was signed between ITECO and Sber at
the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. As part of the
agreement, ITECO Russia LLC will purchase 600 KAMAZ-54901 (K5), 600
Dongfeng GX trucks and semi-trailers for them.
The signed agreement provides for investments worth more than 15 billion
rubles. The order is already known: first, the company’s fleet will
receive domestic KAMAZ trucks from the plant in Naberezhnye Chelny, and
then Dongfeng truck from the dealer of the foreign plant. It is
expected that the trucks will join the company's fleet in full by the
end of summer. Thus, in 2024, the ITECO fleet expects another record
growth for the industry. Let us remind you that in 2021 the company
became the owner of one of the largest batches of trucks - 1000 units.
- KAMAZ-54901 is already well known to us as the domestic flagship
among trucks, - said Dmitry Kalashnikov, CEO of ITECO Russia LLC. -
Dongfeng trucks of the model we have chosen can also be considered a
flagship, only foreign. Dongfeng trucks will be used for transportation in
Siberia and the Far East, as well as on international routes from
China.
